Youve Come Along Way Baby, Norman vowed to give interviews a rest and
headed off to Japan to play some gigs. Before he completely extricated himself from the
music press he agreed to answer a few questions we faxed to him in Japan and here is what

My own, of course.

I was beaten up by a pig in 1990.

(musically) when you discovered acid house?
Darren Emmerson was DJing at a Boys Own party at
Bognor Butlins. I was between jobs.
What has been the most memorable moment of
1998 for you?
Glastonbury, Ibiza, Big Beat Boutique, the End, Heavenly
Jukebox, Chateau Marmont, Tokyo with Wall of Sound, the Love Parade. The list is endless. |
